Who could ever forget the joy on George Nissen’s face on television as he was surrounded by a group of admiring Olympians who came to the 2000 Olympic Games to compete in TRAMPOLINE? It was his life-long dream. And now, just in time for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, George’s daughter Dagmar Nissen Munn has announced her new book about her father’s legacy and his dream of making Trampolining an Olympic Sport. My Father’s Dream of an Olympic Trampoline is a great read for all trampoline fans and Olympic fans to catch up on trampoline history and its journey to the Games.

My Father’s Dream of an Olympic Trampoline” is the first-hand account of George Nissen’s path to immortality, written by his daughter Dagmar. George was not afraid to step outside the box and take chances. He was an inventor with over a hundred patents, but he was also a dedicated husband, father, and family man. In 2000, he saw his dream became a reality when competitive trampolining was announced as an Olympic event.

Congratulations Dagmar! Her book is available online at www.nissentrampoline.com.
